Replacing Broken Screen on a Mac iTouch
Posted on: October 15, 2011
Replacing a broken touch screen on a Apple product is quite easy and affordable. We did it twice and both experiences were seamless and worth the money verses buying a new Mac. Simply remove the iTouch or iPhone from your Mac-case-proctector and visit a Apple store. Show the clerk your product and you can generally get a new one right there. Apple has refurbished Mac products in each store and will change it out for you on the spot. At busier Apple stores it may be neccassary to make a Genius Bar appointment. One important thing to remember is to back up all your apps on your Mac laptop. Simply open the mac case, turn on the mac laptop and sync the iTouch, iPhone or iPad you are having repaired. On one occasion we did loose all of our positions on app games and had to start over. On another occasion our position held. Be sure to back up all music and other media to your Mac which has been directly downloaded to your iTouch, iPhone or iPad. The cost was $79 plus tax to replace broken screen on our iTouch.
